Question 2 and 3

Question 2

Ø  Homo Naledi was formally described in September 2015 by a 47-member international team of authors led by the American born South African paleoanthropologist Lee Berger who proposed the bone represent a new Homo species. Lee Berger and his 47-member international team of authors have managed to gather information from the research and gave a good report about their findings, of which that forms part of Digital literacy because they create and communicate information using their Technical skills. An analysis has ben conducted by their expert to support the classification.
Ø  Additional information about the fossils including skulls, jaws, ribs, teeth, bones of almost complete foot, of a hand, and of an inner ear that shows the critical thinking that has been used will utilise the availability of information. They went to an extend of giving a pre-requisite information about the homo Naledi. Some of the bones resemble modern human bones, and other bones are more primitive than Australopithecus, an early ancestor of humans. {They are older than the bones of the first ancestor in the world.
Ø  Lee Berger and 47-member of international authors, state that four skulls were discovered, thought to be two female and two males. They also state that the brain and teeth of the skull were markedly smaller than the modern homo sapiens, measuring between 450 and 550cm {27-34 cu in}.
Ø  Geologists intervene to determine the number of years the Homo Naledi and they come to an estimation that the fossils are not older than 3million years. Paleoanthropologist Tim. D. White observed that the significance of this discovery is unknown until dating has been completed and additional anatomical comparison with previously known fossils has been done.
Ø  There are a lot of arguments between the experts however it is significant that Lee Berger did his research accordingly and followed Digital Literacy and Information Fluency in reporting the found/discovered information.

Question 3
Ø  In the picture below, there is too much criticism which anyone can find it touching. The picture creates a sense of sympathy of which it is some of the things we will be discussing along those lines.
Ø  In the picture we see a number of children and soldiers and it looks like it was during the war but the funny part of it is that, out of all the children , 1 is naked of which it brings about many questions in mind. I think that there is criticism in the picture because it shows how children suffered during the war. I usually ask myself a question “ Why would a child be naked at war” no answer came to mind. I would also blame the soldiers because they don’t try by all means to take cover of the child and that shows that there is negligence. They only focus o the shooting on the other hand they don’t look after the people they are rescuing. It came to my attention that in various countries, children are not taken care of as it is clearly evident on the picture.
Ø  Being given the opportunity o to give my observation about the picture, I think it is a good thing to save lives however they use children as tool of winning the war by kidnapping them, abusing them and killing them as it is shown on the picture.
